toto je odpoved z finske ambasady v praze:
Thank you for your enquiry.
Every hunter, Finnish or foreign, in order to hunt in Finland, must have a Finnish hunting card, hunting permit granted by a land owner or holder of hunting rights, a firearms licence, in cervine and bear hunting, a certificate of a passed shooting test and for certain species of game, a huntig licence.
A foreign hunter, in order to obtain a Finnish hunting card, must present a hunting card valid in his/her native country (or some other certificate of his/her right to hunt in his/her own country).
The regulations for importing own firearms vary depending on which country the foreign hunter is arriving from (a European firearms passport, a personal import license or a license from the Finnish police authorities is needed). A foreign hunter may also borrow a hunting weapon from his/her Finnish hunting host. In this case, a hunter needs a parallel firearms license granted by the Finnish police authority.
I have attached herewith a link to The Hunters´ Central Organization website, which provides all the information a foreign hunter needs to know when hunting in Finland. The Hunters’ Central Organization can be contacted, e-mail:
